Hi Bloomers!
I hope you’ve all been feeling well and taking time to enjoy your end of gardening season harvests! While this year didn’t produce nearly as much as I had hoped, or usually get, I’m grateful for the experience and the crops I did get the chance to grow and harvest.

And now, it’s Salsa Time! 🌶️
Nothing quite says fall to me like a big batch of delicious salsa! Being that my garden didn’t produce as much as last year, I didn’t quite get as many cans of salsa or pasta sauce that I had hoped, but they are tasty, fresh and will keep us remembering the garden all winter long.

We have made tacos, pizza, pasta and even just used it as dipping sauce for bread! There is something extra delicious about something you grew from a seed and then get to provide for family and friends to enjoy.

I will continue to look forward to my late fall carrot harvest at the end of October, and cross my fingers that some grew to full size, given the amount of moisture we had this summer 🥕! (carrots grow down looking for water, so if the soil is packed tight, we have lots of rain or you over water, your carrots will be short and stubby since they didn’t have to reach down for water)
Have a great fall and happy harvesting!
Catch yah later Buds!
