Hi Bloomers!

After the downpours we’ve been having in Halifax it’s been tough to keep my strawberries from rotting before they become ripe, but tonight was the night.

A tiny strawberry harvest! 🍓

As I mentioned in a previous post (Leaning Tower of Strawberries) I’ve moved my strawberries this year, from a raised bed to their own little towering pots in hopes that they would produce a bigger harvest.

Of course it is far too early in the season to know how well their new pots will help them grow, and mix in the wet humid early summer we’ve been having, our results may be a little skewed when the time comes to look back and make our decisions for next year.

Regardless of how tiny the fruit is, or how small the harvest is, I am always grateful for the chance to try my best and make something that we can eat, from just a tiny seed!

I hope you all have a great week ahead!
