Hi Bloomers!

We’re off on vacation for a week and a half and today seemed like the perfect time to dig in and start my strawberry move! 🍓

Two years ago we started with 5 itty bitty strawberry plants and I just kept tucking their ‘runners’ time after time into the free soil and low and behold, these strawberries took over my raised bed and squeezed out my tomato plants last year.

This year was calling for a new spot (preferably something they couldn’t freely take over too haha), and I found the perfect planters on Amazon!

Took about 3 hours but it was well worth it to see just how many plants had spread.

Look at that bounty! :O

After digging them all out, a quick call to Christine (our OG Bloomer) to see if she could take some of the extras off my hands, I moved them over to their new home!

What a beauty!

It was a lovely day outside, with my hands in the dirt and seeing how many of my strawberries already have berries starting on them!

Catch yah’ later Buds!

So many strawberries! What a great idea to move them to their own home. Can’t wait to see how many you get this year!
